Jenness Hoffos Photography

For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed picking up a camera and capturing a view, an expression, or a joyful moment being shared between people. My first son was born over 14 years ago; that was when I really started becoming passionate about my photography.  

Over the years I have captured many images; along the way I've taught myself how to adjust lighting, color and so on. I am not inclined to use technical terms such as f-stops, aperture, etc.  I am quite simply trying to capture with my camera what it is I am seeing with my own eyes. I try to put feeling into the picture and I hope to capture the spirit and emotion of the moment, not just objects in my photography.

I truly LOVE the outdoors... it is inspiring for me to experience connecting with nature and the mountains which I enjoy exploring.  I love capturing moments with people and children when they are truly being themselves, and I hope that I can always capture their personalities and emotions in the photographs I take.
